36" of POW so far this week!

March has arrived at Belleayre and we are celebrating with snow...  36" inches this week to be exact.  Winter storm Stella dropped 32" of white gold on Tuesday, a couple more inches fell Wednesday night and more snow is headed our way.  The conditions are stellar and there is certainly no shortage of POW to be found on the mountain.  Spring may be a couple days away, but winter is in full effect up in the Catskill Mountains!

This weekend we will be skiing and riding on some of the best conditions all season!  We are looking at packed powder & powder conditions with 46 trails open for you to cruise on - 34 trails on the upper mountain and 12 on the lower.  All 9.2 km of the cross country trails will also be open with a 8"-16" powder base.  It is going to be an epic weekend at the Belle and we hope you can join us.  Stay up to date by visiting the Belleayre Snow Report...

MARCH FUN AT THE BELLE!

March has a jammed pack calendar of events with fun happening every weekend.  You can feast upon great food and beverages at the Tailgate Party, build a sled and slide your way down the slopes in the Cardboard Classic, master the Yahoo bumps in the Turn 'N Burn competition and more.

BELLEAYRE COMMITS TO 100% RENEWAL ENERGY

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced the three New York-owned ski resorts, Belleayre Ski Resort, Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain, have become pledged to be powered by 100 percent renewal energy by 2030, joining The Climate Reality Project I AM PRO SNOW 100% Committed campaign. The initiative corresponds with Governor Cuomo’s Clean Energy Standard, which requires that half of all electricity used in New York come from renewable sources by 2030.

Founded by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, The Climate Reality Project is one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to mobilizing action on the climate crisis.
