BELLEAYRE MOUNTAIN PREPARES FOR 2007 HOLIDAY SEASON
Early Season Natural Snow Continues to Help Build Base

Highmount, NY December 3, 2007 ~ Early season snows continue to help Belleayre Mountain get off to a fantastic start to the ‘07-‘08 skiing and riding season. The forecast looks good as Belleayre continues to receive promising early season natural snow and the temperature has been dropping at night enough to continue snowmaking operations.

This week, on Saturday, December 8 Belleayre will be holding the first Demo Day of the year. On-mountain retail shop Blue Sky Sports and local retailer Jimmy’s Belleayre Ski Shop will have a tent set up in front of the Overlook Lodge full of brand new equipment from a variety of brands to test fly. In addition, Blue Sky Sports will be selling last year’s leftover new gear at discounted prices while supplies last. On Sunday, December 9 Belleayre will hold its annual Hanukkah Candle Lighting in the Garden Room of the Overlook Lodge. Candle Lighting Ceremony, stories, singing and refreshments will begin at 12:00 PM. Give the gift of skiing and riding this holiday season with a Belleayre Bucks Gift Card that can be purchased for any amount. Another great deal is the newly offered Frequent Skier Card. Buy a Frequent Skier Card for only $25 and receive $12 off a full-priced lift ticket on weekends and $14 off a full-priced mid-week ticket, and your 5th visit is free.

There are currently five lifts servicing eight trails including the rail park with new terrain continuing to open as conditions allow. Both Overlook Lodge and Discovery Lodge are open. Early season rates are in effect until 12/09/07 and midweek season passes are valid seven days a week until 12/09/07. Belleayre Mountain has extended their BOGO offer: Buy a lift ticket through 12/09/07 then bring that lift ticket back during late season (March 17th through closing) and receive a lift ticket of equal or lesser value for free.

New this season, Belleayre has formed its first Freestyle Program for people who are interested in pushing their skills in the terrain park, half-pipe and moguls. From this program, Belleayre will field its first Freestyle Team to participate in regional competitions. The enrollment deadline for all seasonal programs is December 16th.
