Having problems with your student "entering" the turn smoothly..........try
this !

Soften the outside/downhill leg to release the edge, flatten the ski and
begin the new turn. If a progression is necessary to accomplish the task it
might be: shuffle in traverse, shuffle throughout the turns, cowboy turns,
and patience turns. The purpose of softening the outside leg is to provide a
smooth transition into a new turn. This will promote a more efficient,
rounder, less skidded and more flowing look to the turns.
