Level II, Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Students entering this course must have a ARC Level I certificate or must be able to demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level 1.
This course teaches students the basic fundamentals for swimming without support and early stroke and kick movements. Level II also expands on self-help and basic rescue skills taught in Level I. Some topics covered include: unsupported floats, glides, finning and sculling, etc. An American Red Cross Level II will be awarded at the successful completion of all skills.
