Level III, Stroke Development
Students entering this course must have a ARC Level II certificate or must be able to demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level II.
Guided instruction synchronizes arm and leg movements to develop the beginnings of front and back crawl strokes. Butterfly and treading water is introduced, while students begin to conquer entering the water head-first. Further water- safety skills are also taught. An American Red Cross Level III certificate is awarded at the successful completion of all skills.
