INTERACTIVE NATURE CENTER

The Belleayre Mountain Interactive Nature Center is a hands on learning experience with Nature for everyone. Anyone who visits the Nature Center is strongly encouraged to look, touch, feel, smell and examine. From "eating" like a bird, stroking the fur of a Coyote or Bobcat, watching fish, or picking up some very informative literature, there is something for everyone. This season will bring new and exciting exhibits to the Nature Center, so if you have visited with us before, come back again and see all the changes, then keep coming back and experience our beautiful natural surroundings. The Nature Center invites everyone from local community, to area visitors, to school groups and more to come, see and feel for themselves how fun and informative nature can be. If you have an item you would like to donate to the Nature Center or have a group that would like to take a field trip to the Nature Center give us a call at 845-254-5600 Monday thru Friday from 7am - 3:30pm. Located in the Long House Lodge.

The Nature Center will be opening this season on Saturday July 4, 2009 through September 7; Mon - Fri, 9am to 3pm & Sat, Sun & holidays from 10am to 5pm. September 8 through October 10; Mon-Fri, 9am to 3pm & October 10 & 11 during the Fall Festival from 10am to 5pm.
