INTERPRETIVE ADVENTURE TRAIL

Take a hike on the Belleayre Mountain Interpretive Adventure Trail located on the Wild West side of the mountain! The Interpretive Adventure Trail is a highpoint in the DEC's continuing efforts to provide exceptional outdoor experiences focusing on education and conservation for all ages.

Six kiosks stand along the Cayuga and Deer Run trails at Belleayre Mountain. Each kiosk contains historic and factual information about the Catskill region, its wildlife, water, geology, and avian life. Actual pictures and local artist renditions depicting natural resources and nature will highlight each kiosk.

Have fun hiking while learning! This is a great opportunity for the whole family to experience the great outdoors, appreciate nature at its finest, to gaze at the breathtaking vistas. If you're quiet you may even see some of the Catskills abundant wildlife. So come on out and take a walk on the wildside in natures own theme park!
