BMRA RACE SCHEDULE
Hello everyone. Hope this finds you well and getting ready for the upcoming season. This is a rundown I have for races + lodging. You will find the race schedule age appropriate in the first part, the right side is the lodging information. The rates quoted are per night and are group rates. You do not have to participate in the lodging if you would rather stay somewhere else. This is your choice.
A reminder - if you have not paid for the USSA and NYSSRA membership, now would be a good time. You will need the cards with you at the races for your child to participate. Also sending race registrations in early will help in your planning and assure your child is in the race. Sending in registration forms two days before the race is extremely trying (and expensive with late fees) for you, your child and those running the race.
Please make sure that you check the NYSSRA website to verify that the race has not be changed (date or discipline) PRIOR to the event. Please refer to the NYSSRA handbook in reference to State qualifications, other races available and many other questions you may have. If you look at the NYSSRA website, you will be able to see the manual and print out the entry cards.
If your child was born:

It is extremely important that you respond by the deadlines. After that date, the rooms that are set-aside for us will be released and you will be on your own. Rooms are available on a first come first serve. Give some thought about making all your reservations at one time for the season.
The rates quoted are per night and are group rates. You do not have to participate in the lodging if you would rather stay somewhere else. This is your choice. I would suggest calling rather than booking online only because I am not sure you will get the group discount if you make the reservations online.
Code of Conduct/damages:
For the consideration of all guests, any music or loud noise must cease no later than 11pm. The drinking of alcoholic beverages is not permitted in public areas outside of the Windows of the Lake bar and restaurant at the Lake Placid Summit Hotel. The group contact (that’s me) for the BMRA Racing Group will be notified of and held responsible for any damages sustained to the premises by any member(s) of the group.
For Gore and West Mountain Races: Holiday Inn-Lake George. 518-668-5781 or 1-888-668-5789. The room rate will be $79/tax. All standard rooms have two queen beds. Suites are $159/tax. They are two-room suites with either a king bed and pull out couch or two queen beds and pull out couch. The work on the pool is scheduled to begin March 1st. There is a bowling alley at the entrance of the hotel which many of our racers have enjoyed. They offer a restaurant and bar. We will be able to use their meeting room to wax skies and meet if they have not already booked the room. This room is carpeted so please remember to bring a cloth to use. A shower curtain works pretty well.
You will call the hotel directly and use the BMRA'scode This is BA with a number or letter. See below.

As far as setting up other hotels for other races you can do that on your own. Please pass on any information you may have as well and we will all benefit! Have a great 2007-2008 season!!!!
