You are finally here!  Follow these easy steps and you will be out on the slopes in no time:

1.  PARK YOUR VEHICLE

Get here nice and early.  Not only will you find a better parking space closer to the lodges, the snow is better, lift and ticket lines are shorter and more rental gear is available in the mornings too.

During the winter, lodges open at 8:00 am, 7 days a week and the ticket windows are typically open by 8:15 am.  The official time the lifts start spinning is at 9:00 am and stop at 4:00 pm, 7 days a week.  It is not uncommon for the lifts to be open by 8:30 am if the "all clear" is given by Ski Patrol.

Arriving before the lifts open, you will be able to find a parking space closer to the lodges.  There are 2 main lodges at Belleayre:

The Discovery Lodge:  This is the first lodge that you will find coming up the access road and is the main lodge for all beginner/novice skiers.  The Discovery Lodge is where all private/group lessons and Kidscamp leave from.  The Discovery Rental Center/Rossignol Experience Center is also located at this lodge and is the only place on the mountain where you can rent equipment.

Overlook Lodge:  If you continue past the Discovery Lodge and make the next left, continue up the access road and you will find the Overlook Lodge.  The Overlook Lodge services intermediate/expert terrain and lifts.  If you have equipment and don't need a lesson, you could make this lodge your base for the day.  The Overlook Lodge parking area also has a premier parking area up next to the lodge for easy access.

If you cannot find a parking spot close to the lodge, feel free to unload your gear at our 5-minute turnaround areas in front of the Discovery Lodge and right before the premiere parking at the Overlook Lodge.  These areas are for drop off/pick up only and long term parking is not allowed.  Vehicles left unattended will be towed.

If you don't want to walk to the lodges from the parking lot, make your way to one of the shuttle stops. The Belleayre Shuttle Service runs continuously between the Discovery and Overlook Lodges, plus through all of the parking lots.

2.  STORE YOUR BELONGINGS

Looking for a place to stash your stuff?  We have added secure bag check locations at the Overlook Lodge guest services, on the lower level of the Discovery Lodge and in the Discovery Rental Center.  These new bag areas will help improve the lodge experience for everyone by freeing up space for seating by not having bags or other items under/on top of tables.

Available 7 days a week for just $7, our Bag Check keeps your belongings secure and accessible all day.

There are also coin operated lockers located in the Discovery Rental Center.  Free cubbies are located on the main level of the Discovery Lodge directly across from Guest Services and on the lower level next to Kidscamp.  Free cubbies are also located in the Great Room & Garden Room of the Overlook Lodge too.  Please do not leave belongings on the tops or under the tables to make room for customers who wish to use the tables.

3.  FIRST TIMERS

If you are new to the sport of sking and snowboard, it can be a little daunting on where to begin.  There are several different types of tickets, packages, lessons and rentals that can be purchased.  To help sort things out, we have put together a Beginner's Guide that can guide you in the right direction of what you need.  If you don't find what you are looking for in our Beginner's Guide, you can always email or call us at 845-254-5600 and we can answer all your questions.

4.  RENTING EQUIPMENT

If you need to rent equipment or forgot your gear at home, we have you covered.  Make your way to the Discovery Rental Center located next to the Discovery Lodge for all your rental needs.  All minors under the age of 18 will need to have a parent or guardian on premises to sign the rental release form.  Please note:  Belleayre does not rent clothing or goggles but if you need some great gear, stop off in one of our retail shops to get the latest and hottest outwear!
