Projected Snow Report for 01.27.2022
What a week of fantastic skiing and riding with some of the best conditions of the season. The packed powder conditions and the 4″ of snow this past week definitely are giving us the “feels.” With over 98% of our terrain open, we will be exploring 61 trails across 171 acres to carve up those corduroy groomer runs, hitting the bump runs, jibing in the parks, and finding the secret stashes of untouched snow in the glades! Lifts spinning will be the Catskill Thunder Gondola, the Belleayre Express, Lightning Quad, and the Little Creek Carpet. Please note that Lift 7 and Lift 8 will not be running on Thursday, to give our lift operators a VERY well-earned break after powering through staffing shortages.
Even with almost 21 miles of trails open, our expert snowmaking crew is not done yet and will be adding inches to our trails. The snowguns are fired up on Seneca, Iroquois, Ashokan, lower Belleayre Run to name a few.
On the weather front, Thursday will be bringing us partly cloudy skies with a high near 23 degrees. Winds out of the south at 5 to 10 mph.
Please remember to mask up in the gondola, in our lodges, boot up tent, and in our shuttle buses. Expect normal lift loading procedures, and be sure to review our face covering requirements in advance of your visit!
