Year Round Positions


Belleayre, an Olympic Regional Development Authority managed venue, is seeking a full time-year round rental shop manager.  The rental supervisor is responsible for all daily operations of the rental shop, ensuring rental inventory, repairs, and returns are handled efficiently and appropriately.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop purchasing plans for rental and demo equipment
  • Execute purchasing plans on time and within budget in collaboration with the business manager
  • Schedule seasonal inventory counts, monitor execution, and ensure inventory management practices are followed
  • Set up rental shop at the beginning of the season
  • Perform opening and closing procedures daily
  • Work closely with other venue departments to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of guests
  • Create and implement a schedule for rental shop employees
  • Assist with binding certification process and training of all rental staff

Job Qualifications

  • 5 years of retail/rental industry experience
  • 2 years of experience managing a rental shop, including inventory purchasing
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task

Belleayre Mountain is seeking an electrician. The successful candidate will be involved with electrical service; troubleshooting, repair, installation of electrical and systems and equipment including medium voltage distribution; low voltage controls; buildings; ski lifts; voice and data communications, using electrical power from milliamps to 15.8 kV. This person will report to the Electrical Department Supervisor and must be familiar with the electrical code. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required as this person will communicate with vendors on technical information for troubleshooting and repair. Must be able to read and interpret machinery documentation, including prints and schematics, acquiring parts.

Minimum of four years’ practical experience and/or documented completion of technical courses and a valid driver’s license.

These positions perform skilled mechanical work in lift repair and maintenance of all the chair lifts and surface lifts on the mountain. Must be able to climb towers and be willing to work in all kinds of inclement weather. Must be able to operate a variety of power-driven tools and other specialty tools related to the task.

Incumbents may be assigned to related activities in the vehicle maintenance department and in the general operation of the facility.

Minimum qualifications:
Two years of full-time experience under a skilled journeyman mechanic which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprentice program. Apprentice training in mechanics or training gained by completion of technical courses in mechanics at a school or technical institute may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Applicants must possess a valid current driver’s License.

Operators & Attendants are responsible for preparing the lift for guests – including cleaning of equipment, setting up corrals/signs, ensuring everything is set up for the customers to hit the slopes, helping guests on and off the chair lift, and checking lift tickets, maintaining ramps, scanning season passes and lift tickets.   Operators will run the lift, ensuring a safe manner.


As a Snowmaker you’ll check snowmaking equipment (valves, water lines, etc.) and reposition snow guns on the mountain. Enjoy the bragging rights that YOU play an integral part in why the trails are so awesome at Belleayre. On-site training available.


Give our guests a warm welcome while assisting them with instructions for parking. Other duties include: keeping parking areas clean and orderly.

Love the outdoors but looking to work inside? We have that too! Reservationists are responsible for booking group sales, group lessons, private lessons and other packages for individuals over the phone or in-person with guests. Must be detail-oriented, have a personable phone demeanor and will require to work on the front-line.


Groom trails and operates snowcats, primarily at night. Heavy equipment experience preferred knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes needed.


The human resource assistant will help perform administrative tasks and services to support the Human Resources manager at Belleayre.  Duties included maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.  May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, and distributing checks.


As a switchboard operator, your responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls, or taking messages as necessary.  Operating communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard, and two-way radios.  May also assist with administrative and guest service tasks.


”Crew” is the main word here! Spend your winter building and maintaining the terrain park features where all the shredding magic happens. You’ll also work with mountain operations. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes is needed.


Have you been told you’re a people person? Well, that’s what we are looking for in our ticket sellers! Sell lift tickets, season passes, frequent skier products and lessons; answer phones, and rock your excellent customer service skills. The position requires knowledge of computers.


Support staff help assist with kids that are enrolled in the Kidscamp program. Duties include helping to get the children ready to go out on the snow, escorting kids in and out of the building to designated teaching areas, helping serve lunch and snacks during breaks, and possibly being on snow with lessons. Skiing/riding is not required for this position.


Assist with keeping our buildings in tip-top shape for our guests. Job duties include janitorial work, cleaning lodges, and snow removal.


Do you have impressive skills in skiing or riding? Love working with people? The Snowsports Team could be for you, where you’ll teach both children and adults to ski and snowboard. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes is needed. Instructor Training Course (ITC) is required for all new hires.

ADAPTIVE SNOWSPORTS – Ski & Snowboard Instructors

Teach both children and adults with disabilities to ski or snowboard. Knowledge of skiing/riding and ski slopes is needed. Instructor Training Course (ITC) is required for all new hires.


Transport our guests from parking lots to Lodges. Must have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of CDL Class B.


The security department is responsible for the safety of employees, guests, and the property. Security patrols the grounds, intervene in situations with guests, staff, and others as necessary, and assist in all money movement throughout and outside of the resort.

MOUNTAIN HOSTS (Ambassadors)

Mountain hosts provide service in a variety of areas including greeting and providing information to guests, assist with special events on and off the snow, greeting group tour buses, and administering guest surveys. The most important jobs our mountain hosts have been to send the Belleayre guests off with a smile on their face and to help them have a great experience on the mountain. This is a non-paid position and all members must complete 100 hours per season.


As a retail associate, you are responsible for handling various sales and activities in a retail store, including facilitating purchases and providing customer service.  You will also help out in assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays.


As a ski patroller, you are responsible to promote on hill skier safety, educating guests of the Skier’s and Rider’s Responsibility Code, provide pre-hospital emergency care, opening/closing trails, and removing hazards off trails. Ski patrol is a highly visible role on the mountain, and a great deal of guest interaction is required.


Sodexo is Belleayre’s on-mountain concessionaire and manages the food & beverage operations for the mountain.
