To help make your visit faster, smoother, and more convenient, we’re excited to share that all Olympic Authority venues are transitioning to a fully cashless payment system. From lift tickets to lunch specials, you’ll be able to quickly check out using major credit cards, debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and our in-house gift cards.

We have had already moved toward being a cashless resort, as guest purchasing habits have continually gravitated away towards using cash.  98% of transactions have already been via cashless payments.  With so many guests using credit cards at the resort, we decided it was finally time to go completely cashless.  In addition, handling cash comes with a number of logistical and financial considerations.

Many ski areas have already mad the change to cashless and we are following the industry standard.

If you prefer to use cash, we’ve got you covered. While most resort locations will no longer accept cash directly, our Guest Services teams at both the Discovery and Overlook Lodges can exchange your cash for an in-house gift card. These cards work at any point-of-sale location across the resort.

For added convenience, you can purchase and reload your in-house gift card anytime through the Belleayre store or in person at Guest Services. In addition to being used at all point of sale locations at Belleayre, your card can also be used at Gore, Whiteface, Mt. Van Hoevenberg, and the Lake Placid Legacy Sites. With no expiration date and unlimited reloads, it’s the easiest way to enjoy all our venues.

Guests can sync any credit or debit cards on file to any adult season pass to make purchase that apply directly to your credit card through your pass.  You can turn your child’s season pass into a prepaid gift card and add any amount on your card.  Stop off at any Guest Service Location to set up pass pay.

Currently a guest cannot attach a credit card to their RFID.  You will need to purchase an in-house gift card or use a credit card throughout the resort.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, most debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and our Olympic Authority’s (ORDA) in-house gift cards at every point of sale.  We do not accept checks, Venmo, or other cash app payments.
