What's Going On
Happy Sunday everyone! Good news, we could be seeing some snow showers on and off during the morning hours for Sunday, then mostly cloudy during the afternoon hours. The temperature will remain steady throughout the day around that 30 degree mark, plus or minus a degree here and there. We will be skiing and riding on 30 trails, 21 upper mountain trails serviced by 4 lifts and 9 trails on the lower mountain serviced by 3 lifts. A machine groomed loose granular and loose granular with moguls will be waiting for us, with some frozen granular mixed in.
National Safety month occurs every January and we are sending it out with a bang with day 2 our Peace, Love and Safety event. Stop off at our safety kiosk answer some questions and then you get to spin the wheel of prizes.... you could get a pretty sweet tie dye t-shirt. If you come dressed head to toe in your best tie dye or another Woodstock themed outfit/costume and you can get a $69 lift ticket.
USASA is here today for day two of competition, today they will be in Area 51 for a slopestyle competition. Registration is from 8am to 9am in the Longhouse Lodge and good luck to all the competitors.
We have some great news for our Frequent Skier Card holders, you can now reload your tickets online now and skip the ticket booth! However, your first and 6th days free must be redeemed at the ticket window. The tickets being purchased are date specific and are only available on one day tickets. You can also purchase your tickets on the Belleayre Store the same day you wish to visit.
The safety message this week is Know the Zone! While on the hill, avoid collisions by giving others 15 feet of space on all sides. If kids are present, go slower and give them even more room. Know that skiers/riders can turn suddenly, so stay in control to obey the 15-foot zone.
Did you know? If you have a SKI3 card you can reload your lift ticket online, skip the ticket booth, and go directly to the lift! SKI3 Cards can be used at Belleayre, Gore and Whiteface Mountains. To reload your card, head on over to myski3.com or on the Belleayre Store.
