What's Going On

The sweet sound of snowmaking has returned to the mountains. The guns were fired up late last week and as long as the cold temperatures stick around the Snowmaking crew will keep on cranking out the man made.  So far, we have been making it snow on Deer Run and Iroquois and we have now also moved over to Wanatuska.

The top questions right now are "when is opening day" and "why aren't you opening sooner"?  The short answer is, that we plan to be open on Friday, November 29, the day after Thanksgiving!  The Belleayre crews have been busy working around the clock to finish up some of the major projects that have been going on behind the scenes at the mountain, including the Discovery Lodge renovation and modernization, new beginner lift, new beginner area, the relocation of 2 magic carpets and the RFID ticketing & lift access, amongst others.

While we have been cranking out a ton of snow,  we are not quite ready to open the doors for the upcoming season just yet. While this may be recognized as a setback, we know that these improvements will be a major bonus for our guests in the long run! We want to make sure that we open up with a quality product that we can all be proud of for the upcoming season.  Stay tuned for additional updates!

If you are a season pass holder, we will be mailing out all season passes within the next week.  If you don't receive your pass in the mail, it may mean that you have not signed your season pass form, agreeing to the terms and conditions of your purchase, or you may be missing a current photo.  If you have any questions about your season pass, please feel free to reach out to us  at 845.254.5600 or by emailing marketing@belleayre.com.   If you are a SKI3 passholder and would like to visit our sister mountains, Gore and Whiteface, stop off at one of their guest services locations to receive a day ticket to get you on snow.

We hope that you all enjoy the great season of skiing and riding ahead and we will see you on snow soon!

 —The Belleayre Team
